The absence of original drawings does not mean that research and development can only be restarted. Reverse copying is suitable for turning existing physical objects into data that can be continued for design, but the first step should be to determine the purpose: retention, modification, assembly inspection, or manufacturing.

扫描后的模型也不是越贴合实物越好。若实物存在磨损、变形或加工缺陷，需要与客户确认是按当前状态建档，还是依据装配和设计意图进行恢复，这两种任务不能混为一谈。
